DIY natural mask you can do when self quarantine



Staying home for too long without beauty salons to go as they are all closed during covid-19 lockdown. Isn’t it sad that you can’t go for face treatment or even get your nails done. But don’t worry! You can easily make your own DIY mask with ingredients in your kitchen. Take a look here for recipes and go grab them now!





  • EGGS MASK : Separate the whites from the yolk and apply it on your cleansed face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes then rinse with water. Egg whites can help clarify pores and hair follicles that make too much sebum. It is also good for firming up your skin as egg whites contain protein.

  • YOLK AND BANANA MASK: Mix the leftover yolk with banana. Mash them with folk. You can also add one teaspoon of honey to keep your skin hydrated. Since honey kills bacteria, it prevents acne and pimples as well.

  • BANANA AND YOGURT MASK: Mix half cup of plain yogurt with mashed banana. Yogurt cools the skin, reduces any redness and leaves your skin moisturized. Leave the mixture on your face for 10-20 minutes. Do it as many times as you want for a better result.

  • HONEY AND LEMON: well, this time they are not for drink but to mask your face. First of all, lemon is extremely acidic. For those who have sensitive skin, we recommend you to skip to another recipe. Mix 5- 10 drops of lemon with honey then apply the mixture on your face for 5-10 minutes. Lemon removes dead skin and stimulates new skin growth resulting in smoother and younger skin.

  • YOGURT AND HONEY MASK: Mix one cup of plain yogurt with honey and of course, you can try taste it before apply on your skin for 10 minutes. Rinse with water after that as usual.


How easy is it! Just a few ingredients from your kitchen can make you stay gorgeous while staying at home. You can try to mix and adjust the recipes how you like it. But above all, keep taking care of your skin and don’t forget to wear sunscreen at home as the light bulbs can leave a damage on your skin as well.
